The legal guarantee applies to online purchases made in our webshop. Legal guarantee means that a product must do what the consumer can reasonably expect from it (see also article 10 in our terms and conditions ).Petite Amélie gives a product warranty for the duration of 12 months after the date of purchase on all online purchases made on mattresses and furniture in the webshop www.petiteamelie.co.uk, as well as a product warranty for the duration of 6 months after the date of purchase on all online purchases made on textiles and toys in the webshop www.petiteamelie.co.uk. This warranty relates to any special defects that occur on the product within the warranty period during regular, domestic use of our products. If an appeal is made to the guarantee within the period and the conditions, we will look into the issues and solve it the best way possible. Damaged, single parts that we need to replace do not have to be returned, but we may require damaged items as a whole to be returned to our warehouse.
This warranty applies only to orders with a billing and shipping address in the United Kingdom. Any replacement parts as a result of a warranty claim will be sent free of charge but only to addresses within these countries. PLEASE NOTE: If a damaged product needs to be returned to us or collected, please note that the customer is responsible for packaging the item in an acceptable manor. The item needs to be carefully dissassembled and packaged in a carton box. It does not need to be the original carton, but a carton nonetheless with the correct return label attached. The couriers will not accept a return if it is not packaged in cardboard.
For any defects that arise within the warranty period of 12 months or 6 months (dependng on the type of product) after the purchase date, or that fall within the legal warranty, you can report this via our contact form or via our email address hello at petiteamelie.co.uk. Please state your name and order number in your warranty claim. Include a clear description of the problem and, if possible, add one or more photos. Your report will then be processed and answered within a maximum of 3 working days.
