The «Ombre» high sleeper by Petite Amélie is an all-in-one solution: a bed, children's desk, and wardrobe with doors. This means your child can sleep, study, play, and store all within just 2.5 m²! It's perfect for a children's room with limited space. This high sleeper with desk and wardrobe stands out with its solid construction. The stairs are made from solid sheet material, 22 mm thick, ensuring greater sturdiness and durability.

All about safety

The staircase is mounted at an angle and has open steps. Why is this? Well, this reduces the risk of falling compared to high sleepers that have straight stairs and closed steps. In addition, open steps allow an adult with larger shoe size to climb up safely.

The construction is extra strong. Solid 22 mm thick parts are used for the stairs. Bed and stairs are tested up to 150kg.

This bed is not suitable for children under six years.
The length and width of the mattress shall be equal to the inner dimensions of the bed 90 x 200 cm. The height of the mattress shall not be more than 12 cm.
WARNING! Children can become trapped between the bed and the wall. To avoid risk of serious injury the distance between the bed and the wall must always be less than 65 mm or more than 230 mm.
This bed conforms to EN 747-1:2024.

Is the children's room at least 240 cm high so that there is enough room to make the bed?

Is there at least 250cm x 170cm free space available? (Please note: around the high sleeper you will also need some free space so that you can open the wardrobe doors and get on and off the ladder).

Is your child at least 6 years old and can it climb up and down safely by itself?

If you wish to return the product, it will have to be packed the same way in which it was delivered so that it does not incur any damage when it is returned to us.
