The oval convertible cot bed «Cocoon» in cocoa grows with your child from the first months through to toddler age. The rounded shape gives this wooden cot bed an elegant look that fits beautifully in any nursery. With its 70x140 cm size, this cot to toddler bed can be used from birth until your child is able to get in and out on their own. This pine cot bed comes with a small side rail that can be placed on the left or right, or removed completely when your child is ready for the next stage. This wooden cot that converts into bed offers comfort and reassurance at every phase.

Made from solid pine wood, MDF and plywood, the cot bed is finished in a warm dark brown colour. The safe water-based varnish protects the surface and brings out the rich tone. The mattress base is adjustable to three different heights (20.2 – 34.2 – 48.2 cm), so you can adapt the bed as your child grows. Use the highest setting during the early months to lift your baby in and out easily. Once your child starts crawling or standing, lower the base for added safety. In the final stage, you replace one of the high sides with the smaller rail, so your child can climb in and out independently. This solid wood cot bed combines safety, comfort and timeless design in one practical oval cot bed that blends beautifully into everyday family life.

This growing cot bed is suitable for children from birth until 4 years, depending on the configuration:
- Cot configuration (with side fence): for children from birth until the child can climb out unaided.
- Toddler bed configuration (with side removed): From 18 months to 4 years.
Recommended mattress size 70 x 140 cm. The length and width of the mattress may not exceed a gap of 30 mm. Maximum thickness of mattress 10 cm!
Do not use the cot if any part is broken, torn or missing.
WARNING! Children can become trapped between the bed and the wall. To avoid risk of serious injury the distance between the bed and the wall must always be less than 65 mm or more than 230 mm.
This bed conforms to EN 716-1:2017+AC:2019.

What age is the convertible cot bed suitable for?

The bed is suitable from birth. In the first stage, it’s used as a cot with high rails. When your child is ready for a bit more independence, you can convert it into a toddler bed. Most children can comfortably use the bed until around the age of 4, depending on their height and development.

Which mattress do I need?

This convertible cot bed requires the matching 70x140 cm «Cocoon» mattress. This mattress has rounded corners to fit the oval shape of the bed perfectly.

Can I easily convert the cot into a toddler bed myself?

Yes, you can. Just remove the side panel to let your little one climb in and out on their own. An easy-to-follow assembly guide is included to help make the conversion simple.
