The convertible cot bed «Japandi» in wenge is a stylish and practical choice for the nursery. The deep wenge finish, reminiscent of dark walnut, gives the bed a cosy look that fits effortlessly into many interior styles. Handmade in Europe and set on solid ash wood legs, this wooden cot bed is not only beautiful but also designed for ease of use. From birth up to around four years, this cot to toddler bed supports your child’s growth while providing a familiar sleeping space.

Take advantage of this fantastic offer! This product is also available as part of a complete nursery furniture set, giving you everything you need in one go—plus a discount. Shop the set and save!

The base of this convertible cot bed is adjustable to three heights: 57.5 cm, 43.5 cm, and 29.5 cm. Use the highest setting while your baby is very small so you can lift them in and out easily. When your child can crawl or stand, move to the lowest setting to prevent them from climbing out. When the time comes, remove one side of the railing and convert it into a toddler bed with the base in its lowest position—this adjustable cot then allows your child to get in and out independently. It’s a dark wood cot designed to evolve through every stage of early childhood with comfort and style.

What age is the convertible cot bed suitable for?
The bed is suitable from birth. In the first stage, it’s used as a cot with high rails. When your child is ready for a bit more independence – or starts trying to climb over the rails – you can convert it into a toddler bed. This isn’t just practical, it’s also a safer option. Most children can comfortably use the bed until around the age of 4, depending on their height and development.
Is the bed safe for newborns?
Yes, the cot meets European safety standards. In the highest position, your baby sleeps safely and at a comfortable height for you to lift them in and out. As your little one grows, starts moving more or begins to pull up, we recommend lowering the base. The lowest setting offers the most security at that stage, helping to prevent your child from climbing out of the cot.
Can I easily convert the cot into a toddler bed myself?
Yes, you can. Just remove the side panel to let your little one climb in and out on their own. An easy-to-follow assembly guide is included to help make the conversion simple.
