The cot bed Vintage measures 140x70 cm, which is the size of a toddler bed. So your child can sleep in this nice bed for 4 years. The slanted legs and oak frame create a beautiful retro look.

This cot bed adapts to the growth phases of your child:

• I Cot, base in highest setting (0-6 months)
Newborn baby: Set the bottom to the highest setting so that you can easily lift your baby in and out of the bed without straining your back.

• II Baby crawls and starts to pull him/herself up (6-24 months)
Lower the base to prevent your baby from falling out of the cot. When your child starts to stand up, turn the base to the lowest setting. You will see that at some point the bed will become too small and your toddler will want to climb out. 

• III Assembling the toddler bed (2-4 years)
Is your toddler ready for a bigger bed? Disassemble the two sides and use the transformation piece to transform the cot into a beautiful toddler bed in which your toddler will sleep safely until the age of six. The mattress shown can be ordered as an option.

The headboards of the cot consist of two parts. When converting the cot into a toddler bed you remove the upper part of the headboard.

  • This growing cot bed is suitable for children from birth until 4 years, depending on the configuration:
    • Cot configuration (with side fence): for children from birth until the child can climb out unaided.
    • Toddler bed configuration (with side removed): From 18 months to 4 years.
  • Recommended mattress size 70 x 140 cm. The length and width of the mattress may not exceed a gap of 30 mm. Maximum thickness of mattress 10 cm!
  • Do not use the cot if any part is broken, torn or missing.
  • WARNING! Children can become trapped between the bed and the wall. To avoid risk of serious injury the distance between the bed and the wall must always be less than 65 mm or more than 230 mm.
  • This bed conforms to EN 716-1:2017+AC:2019.

What age is the convertible cot bed suitable for?
The bed is suitable from birth. In the first stage, it’s used as a cot with high rails. When your child is ready for a bit more independence – or starts trying to climb over the rails – you can convert it into a toddler bed. This isn’t just practical, it’s also a safer option. Most children can comfortably use the bed until around the age of 4, depending on their height and development.
Is the bed safe for newborns?
Yes, the cot meets European safety standards. In the highest position, your baby sleeps safely and at a comfortable height for you to lift them in and out. As your little one grows, starts moving more or begins to pull up, we recommend lowering the base. The lowest setting offers the most security at that stage, helping to prevent your child from climbing out of the cot.
Can I easily convert the cot into a toddler bed myself?

Yes, you can. Just remove the side panel to let your little one climb in and out on their own. An easy-to-follow assembly guide is included to help make the conversion simple.

Can I return a product?

We are happy to accept returns if the product(s) are unused, and in their original packaging with no parts missing.

Note: If you are not completely sure about your purchase ..don't immediately throw away the packaging and packaging materials, instead open the packages carefully and keep them until you are completely satisfied with the product. If you wish to return the product, it will have to be packed the same way in which it was delivered so that it does not incur any damage when it is returned to us.
