Étoile baby room consists of a 140x70cm convertible cot bed and a matching chest of drawers. The slatted base of the cot bed can be adjusted to 3 positions and the chest of drawers is supplied with a surface extender. Étoile is a beautiful and solid series that fits in every children's room.

This set consisting of baby cot and a chest of drawers, including a removable extender for the dresser. The cot measures 70x140cm and can be converted into a toddler bed as soon as desired, which means it can last until your child is approximately 4 years old. The slatted base is adjustable in 3 positions.

The dresser is equipped with 'soft-close rails' that ensure that the drawers close gently and automatically. This means that you always have your hands free while changing your child's clothes. Even little children's fingers cannot get hurt in this way. The supplied extender can be removed when it is no longer needed. In this way, you will have a beautiful, sturdy chest of drawers that you can use for years to come.

1) Baby cot bed 140 x 70cm

With this cot, you will be equipped until your child is approximately 4 years old. In the first years, you have the possibility to adjust the slatted base to 3 different positions. When your child is readly to sleep in a bigger bed, you can remove one or both sides in its entirety, creating a beautiful toddler bed.

In combination with one of our duvet sets and/or blankets, you create a real 'grown-up bed'.

2) Chest of drawers

A chest of drawers including a detachable extender. What is the advantage of a surface extender? Many parents nowadays opt for this addition because it allows you to place your baby right in front of you, with the feet facing you. This makes changing them a lot easier and more pleasant. This growing cot bed is suitable for children from birth until 4 years, depending on the configuration:
- Cot configuration (with side fence): for children from birth until the child can climb out unaided.
- Toddler bed configuration (with side removed): From 18 months to 4 years.
Recommended mattress size 70 x 140 cm. The length and width of the mattress may not exceed a gap of 30 mm. Maximum thickness of mattress 10 cm!
Do not use the cot if any part is broken, torn or missing.
WARNING! Children can become trapped between the bed and the wall. To avoid risk of serious injury the distance between the bed and the wall must always be less than 65 mm or more than 230 mm.
This bed conforms to EN 716-1:2017+AC:2019.

What age is the convertible cot bed suitable for?

The bed is suitable from birth. In the first stage, it’s used as a cot with high rails. When your child is ready for a bit more independence – or starts trying to climb over the rails – you can convert it into a toddler bed. This isn’t just practical, it’s also a safer option. Most children can comfortably use the bed until around the age of 4, depending on their height and development.

Is the bed safe for newborns?

Yes, the cot meets European safety standards. In the highest position, your baby sleeps safely and at a comfortable height for you to lift them in and out. As your little one grows, starts moving more or begins to pull up, we recommend lowering the base. The lowest setting offers the most security at that stage, helping to prevent your child from climbing out of the cot.

Can I change my baby on this chest of drawers?

Yes, but only when combined with our changing table topper. This accessory creates a safe and spacious surface, making it comfortable to dress and change your baby.
