This timeless and durable grow-with-me bed is 142.6 x 74.2 x 90 cm in size and has a sleeping area of 140 x 70 cm. The baby bed is slightly larger than a standard cot because it is not just a regular cot but a cot with a convertible function designed to be used from a newborn baby to approximately 4 years old. With the adjustable base, which can be set to three different heights, and the ability to convert the bed into a toddler bed, the cot adapts to you and your child's needs. When your baby is still small, you can use the highest position of the cot to lift your baby out without straining your back. As your baby grows, you can adjust the bed to one of the two safer, lower positions, and when your little one is old enough to climb in and out of the bed independently, you can convert the bed into a toddler bed.

  • This growing cot bed is suitable for children from birth until 4 years, depending on the configuration:
    • Cot configuration (with side fence): for children from birth until the child can climb out unaided.
    • Toddler bed configuration (with side removed): From 18 months to 4 years.
  • Recommended mattress size 70 x 140 cm. The length and width of the mattress may not exceed a gap of 30 mm. Maximum thickness of mattress 10 cm!
  • Do not use the cot if any part is broken, torn or missing.
  • WARNING! Children can become trapped between the bed and the wall. To avoid risk of serious injury the distance between the bed and the wall must always be less than 65 mm or more than 230 mm.

What age is the convertible cot bed suitable for?

The bed is suitable from birth. In the first stage, it’s used as a cot with high rails. When your child is ready for a bit more independence – or starts trying to climb over the rails – you can convert it into a toddler bed. This isn’t just practical, it’s also a safer option. Most children can comfortably use the bed until around the age of 4, depending on their height and development.

Is the bed safe for newborns?

Yes, the cot meets European safety standards. In the highest position, your baby sleeps safely and at a comfortable height for you to lift them in and out. As your little one grows, starts moving more or begins to pull up, we recommend lowering the base. The lowest setting offers the most security at that stage, helping to prevent your child from climbing out of the cot.

Can I easily convert the cot into a toddler bed myself?

Yes, you can. Just remove the side panel to let your little one climb in and out on their own. An easy-to-follow assembly guide is included to help make the conversion simple.

Can I return a product?

At Petite Amelie, we want to make our customers and their little ones happy. If you are not satisfied with a product, the good news is that we can always help! For all your purchases with Petite Amelie, you can return items within 30 days for a refund.

We are happy to accept returns if the product(s) are unused, and in their original packaging with no parts missing.

Note: If you are not completely sure about your purchase ..don't immediately throw away the packaging and packaging materials, instead open the packages carefully and keep them until you are completely satisfied with the product. If you wish to return the product, it will have to be packed the same way in which it was delivered so that it does not incur any damage when it is returned to us.
We will not accept any product returns if the item has been assembled.
