The «Nuage» convertible cot bed in walnut comes as a bundle with a comfortable foam mattress, giving you everything you need for a cosy sleeping space right from the start. This wooden cot is designed to last for years and transforms easily from a baby cot into a toddler bed. The cot base has two height settings, and the included low side rail makes it easy to transition into a toddler bed. The side rail can be fitted on either the left or right side, or removed completely. The adjustable cot is crafted from durable pine wood and MDF, and features a warm walnut finish that fits beautifully in any nursery. This 70x140 cm convertible walnut cot provides stability, comfort, and a timeless design. Evolution of the cot

Step I - Cot (0-6 months)
The cot starts its life as a spacious cot with bars on both sides. The bottom is set at the highest setting so that the parents' backs are not put under too much strain.

Step II - Low-bottom cot (6 - 24 months)
As soon as your child can stand and crawl, set the bottom to the lowest setting. This will prevent accidents from happening.

Step III - Toddler bed (2 to 4 years)
Is your little one ready for a bigger bed? Replace one of the side panels with the included low safety rail, so your toddler can climb in and out on their own. This lovely toddler bed can be used until your child is around four years old.

CONVERTIBLE COT BED
  • This growing cot bed is suitable for children from birth until 4 years, depending on the configuration:
    • Cot configuration (with side fence): for children from birth until the child can climb out unaided.
    • Toddler bed configuration (with side removed): From 18 months to 4 years.
  • Recommended mattress size 70 x 140 cm. The length and width of the mattress may not exceed a gap of 30 mm. Maximum thickness of mattress 10 cm!
  • Do not use the cot if any part is broken, torn or missing.
  • WARNING! Children can become trapped between the bed and the wall. To avoid risk of serious injury the distance between the bed and the wall must always be less than 65 mm or more than 230 mm.
  • This bed conforms to EN 716-1:2017+AC:2019.

  • This mattress is intended for beds with internal dimensions of 70x140 cm.
  • The length and width of the mattress must match the inner dimensions of the cot exactly: 70x140 cm. At no point should there be a gap larger than 30 mm between the mattress and the inner sides of the toddler bed. The height of the mattress must not exceed 10 cm.

What age is the convertible cot bed suitable for?

The bed is suitable from birth. In the first stage, it’s used as a cot with high rails. When your child is ready for a bit more independence, you can convert it into a toddler bed. Most children can comfortably use the bed until around the age of 4, depending on their height and development.

Is the bed safe for newborns?

Yes, the cot meets European safety standards. In the highest position, your baby sleeps safely and at a comfortable height for you to lift them in and out. As your little one grows, starts moving more or begins to pull up, we recommend lowering the base. The lowest setting offers the most security at that stage, helping to prevent your child from climbing out of the cot.

Can I easily convert the cot into a toddler bed myself?

Yes, simply remove one of the high side panels and replace it with the included low safety rail. This allows your little one to safely get in and out of bed independently, without the risk of falling out. The clear assembly instructions make the conversion straightforward and easy.

INFORMATION ABOUT THE DELIVERY OF MY ORDER

Your order will be delivered by DHL


Due to situations caused by force majeure, the specified standard delivery times can be extended by a few days without notice.

WHEN WILL MY ORDER BE SHIPPED

As soon as your order has been placed, you will receive a confirmation email. If the products you have ordered are in stock, they will be dispatched the same day if you order before 2pm. If you order after 2pm, your order will be dispatched the following business day. If the products you ordered are out of stock, you will see the scheduled shipment date for your order + delivery time at checkout.

DELIVERY AND DELIVERY TIMES

As soon as your order is ready for dispatch, you will receive a dispatch confirmation with a track & trace link by e-mail. Via the link you can track your item using the track a parcel page. We deliver from Monday through Friday between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM. The precise delivery times may differ and depend on the size of the parcel and the delivery address.

BANK HOLIDAYS

Bank holidays are non working / non-business days, so a next day delivery booked on the Friday before a Bank Holiday weekend, will be delivered on the Tuesday.

PO BOXES

We cannot deliver to PO box addresses.

MISSED AN ATTEMPTED DELIVERY / FAILED DELIVERY OF PARCEL

If you cannot find an attempted delivery card from your driver but think they have tried to deliver your parcel, you can track the parcel online or give DHL a call on 02476 937 770 If a card has been left, the card and notification will direct you to dhlparcel.co.uk where using the track a parcel function will give you the options available.
If you do not have the tracking number, then please contact Petite Amélie directly to assist further with this.

WHEN WILL MY PARCEL ARRIVE

On the morning of the delivery, a 1 hour delivery window will be provided by DHL. DHL will send you a notification. If you do not receive a notification, we may not have the correct information, you can then view the delivery window by going to our track a parcel page and entering your shipment number and delivery postcode.
